Online quizzes have a bad habit of disappearing—either buried in an inbox or collecting dust in a marketing funnel. We wanted to change that. Instead of just being another quiz tool, Interact is designed to spark real conversations and create meaningful connections.
The Problem
Traditional online quizzes are good for gathering data, but they often miss the chance to create real connections. When we looked at the research, we saw this gap between what existing quiz tools could do and what people really wanted - a more interactive, conversation-driven experience.
My Approach
I started by studying how engaging conversations naturally take place, then took these insights to the quiz creation process. Through lots of testing and prototyping, I developed a framework that prioritizes meaningful interaction while maintaining assessment effectiveness.
Design Decisions
Clean, purposeful design lets the experience shine through. Users can naturally find their way around, thanks to thoughtfully organized information and smooth interactions. The interface gets out of the way so people can focus on what matters - the content and their conversations.
The Impact
We shifted how online quizzes work - they're not just about collecting answers anymore, but about having real conversations. By focusing on genuine back-and-forth, Interact helps creators build stronger connections while getting better insights from their audience. I also made sure the team had everything they needed to move fast, building them a full library of components and templates so they could create and launch new quizzes quickly.
